The Seminole Cup takes place at Broadfield, a Sea Island Sporting Club and Lodge in Woodbine, Georgia (exit 14 on I-95), in the heart of one of the most beautiful parts of the state. Let this be your invitation to linger before or after the tournament to discover its uncommon beauty and many charms. Take your time through the Golden Isles of St. Simons Island and Jekyll Island, or the mainland city of Brunswick, Georgia (exits 29,36, and 38 on I-95). The relaxing small town of St. Marys lures you towards the Georgia coast and Cumberland Island while Kingsland offers many accommodation options without veering too far from  I-95 (exits 1 and 3). And of course, our beloved Sea Island Resort will make for a trip that will linger in your mind for years to come.

  • The Inn by Sea Island

  • Golden Isles

    Along the coast of Georgia midway between Savannah, GA, and Jacksonville, FL, is the most beautiful collection of barrier islands well worth discovering. Along with the mainland city of Brunswick, the islands of St. Simons Island, Sea Island, Jekyll Island, and Little St. Simons Island are aptly known as the Golden Isles, forever tinged with that golden hour glow. Southern food to devour, beaches to stroll, a historic port city with Victorian architecture and beautiful parks and squares to uncover. The Golden Isles is a region that captures your heart and imagination.

  • St. Marys/Kingsland

    St. Mary’s, GA, welcomes you with laidback Southern charm, gorgeous coastal landscapes, and as the gateway to the Cumberland Island National Seashore, plenty of outdoor adventure. Salt marshes, parks, museums, and all the peel-and-eat shrimp you could hope for. Explore the seashore of Georgia’s largest barrier island via ferry with 17 miles of secluded white sand beaches, where wild native horses run free. Kingsland is nestled on the coast, 25 miles north of Jacksonville, FL, with easy access to I-95. Once here, fish, boat, savor the freshest seafood, but most of all, relax.

Know Before You Come

A few details to help make your trip to the Seminole Cup a smooth one.

Event Parking

Parking is available on-site. Follow the posted signs and instructions for parking.

Golf Carts

The Seminole Cup is not a walkable event. Participants are welcome to bring their own golf carts, but if you need to rent one, it must be reserved by February 1, 2025. Carts will not be available and cart deposits/payments will not be refunded after this date.

RV Spaces

Some dry camping spots (no RV hookups) are available on site, but we are limited to 25 spaces. Please email [email protected] to reserve a spot. There are also three campgrounds within 15 minutes (Walkabout, KOA, and Huck’s).

On-Site Food

Come for the shoot, savor the food, one of the most memorable elements of The Seminole Cup. From Wednesday to Sunday during the tournament, enjoy the lunchtime offerings of onsite food trucks, with a variety of options from local vendors.

Saturday Night Banquet

The highly anticipated lead-up to our Under-the-Light Shoot-Off, enjoy a wonderful Prime Rib Supper prepared by the talented chefs of Sea Island Resort. Catch up with friends, mingle with fellow competitors, and enjoy the festivities, including craft beer and a bluegrass band.

Merchandise & Ammo Sales

With some of the premier ammunition suppliers in the industry onsite during the tournament, participants can also take advantage of onsite ammo sales. Take the memory of The Seminole Cup home with you thanks to select Seminole Cup merchandise including shirts and hats.

Your Questions, Answered

We recommend staying at hotels and lodging in the local areas of Brunswick, St. Marys and Kingsland, and the Golden Isles. The Inn by Sea Island is a laidback, casual option on St. Simons Island and offers a special rate for Seminole Cup shooters.

We have 25 spaces available for dry camping at Broadfield, which means no RV hookups, so campers would need to have a storage tank for wastewater and a generator for power, etc. Spots are limited and reservations are no accepted online. Please email [email protected] to reserve your spot.

Availability is not guaranteed, it’s always best to book as soon as your Seminole Cup plans are finalized.

Broadfield is approximately 40 minutes from the Jacksonville International Airport (JAX), about 30 minutes from the Brunswick Golden Isles Airport (BQK) in Brunswick, and 90 miles from the Savannah Hilton Head International Airport (SAV).

No, there is no shuttle service from Sea Island to Broadfield for the event.

Getting AroundExplore the Area

The Seminole Cup and Broadfield are conveniently located off exit 14 on I-95 here in the coastal pine woods of south Georgia, where the beautiful barrier islands of St. Simons Island and Sea Island, as well as the mainland city of Brunswick, are only 40 minutes away (take Golden Isles/Brunswick exits 29,36, and 38 on I-95). Or opt for the relaxing small town of St. Marys or the convenience of Kingsland (exits 1 and 3 right off I-95). All are a short drive from Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) or the Brunswick Golden Isles Airport (BQK).

Kingsland

An idyllic coastal town less than an hour from Jacksonville, FL, historic St. Marys makes a great natural escape with everything from birding, biking and fishing to museums, beaches, and shops.

Live Southern oaks, beaches, and golf. The largest of the Golden Isles is home to The Lodge at Sea Island and the Inn by Sea Island, and is midway between Savannah and Jacksonville.

Savannah/Hilton Head Airport (SAV)

Only 90 miles from Broadfield, the Savannah/Hilton Head Airport (SAV) provides convenient access to Savannah, GA, Hilton Head Island, SC, as well as Georgia’s Golden Isles.

Brunswick

With its formal grid reminiscent of Savannah, the port city of Brunswick is filled with historic streets and squares and features shops, restaurants, and shrimp boats docked at the wharf.

Brunswick Golden Isles Airport (BQK)

A 30-minute drive from Broadfield, BQK is the gateway to the surrounding barrier islands of St. Simons Island, Sea Island, and Jekyll Island, collectively known as Georgia’s Golden Isles.

Jacksonville Airport (JAX)

A 40-minute drive from Broadfield, Northeast Florida’s Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) is serviced by many major airlines and offers a variety of shops, services, and hotels.
