A Sporting Clays Tradition Since 1993Sea Island Sporting Classic

Eleven events. Five days. Large cash purse and prizes. Carved from one of the South’s earliest hunting clubs, Broadfield opens its door once a year for this premier clay shooting event. Welcome to the Sea Island Seminole Cup, a storied sporting clays tournament. One that’s quite unlike any other.

  • Competition FormatTournament Details

    The Seminole Cup features multiple events over five days:

    • Wednesday – Sunday: 100 Bird FITASC
    • Thursday – Friday Events: Qualifying to determine the participants for the E-Z-GO and Super Sporting Under-the-Lights Shoot-Off on Saturday evening.
    • Main Event: The two-day competition where shooters compete for the title of Seminole Cup Champion.
    • Sub-Gauge Events: 12 gauge, 20 gauge, 28 gauge and .410 gauge.

    Family-friendly, fun, festive. So many things about Sea Island feel like family and the Sea Island Seminole Cup is one of them. Local arts and crafts, knife makers, food trucks. Plenty of shooting-related vendors. And many that aren’t. That’s what makes us a little unique and different from other shooting events. Come and be a part of it all.

Idyllic St. Marys is your stepping stone to the Georgia coast and Cumberland Island, while lush natural beauty and the best of the lowcountry are tucked away in historic Kingsland, close to I-95.

  • About Broadfield

    Expansive live oaks, fanning palmettos, and towering pines. Quail, pheasant, and lakes full of largemouth bass. Once you set foot on Broadfield, Sea Island’s 5,800-acre Sporting Club and Lodge, it will come as no surprise that this sanctuary’s lush roots run deep: it was once part of the South’s earliest hunting clubs. Outside the Seminole Cup, ​​the landscape is blissfully calm, the ultimate place to get away from it all. Return for a stay at the lodge to shoot sporting clays, gather around the glow of the fire, sit back on our welcoming porch. And savor the most idyllic secluded getaway.
